So basically, the reason is that the default totem sits on the shoulder, but right now it sticks out a little if the player isn’t wearing armor. I made it that way because most players usually play with armor on, and by shifting the totem slightly to the right, it still looks good on the shoulder even with armor equipped.

But if you’d prefer the totem to sit exactly on top of the shoulder (and you don’t mind how it looks with armor on), then you can simply move or copy the totem_thirdperson.json file into the animations folder and replace the existing one there.
